IMO, the top of them currently is The F1 World Championship (host: Xocas Moreno), the Elite tier. It's the league this team of mine's in now.

Elite has Gary Collyer, dominant manager in 100% leagues such as European Racing League and Fast and Furious; dan ruglio, who's one of the top managers in both 50% and 100% distance whom I race in 2 leagues; and Chris Louth among others. Those 3 including me are managers who've reached 10k rep at some point with any one of our accounts. Also has one of the best non-10k rep managers in Pery Lar (AKA Sam Leo and Larry B) who I'm racing in all 3 leagues I'm currently in across my 3 teams. This league used to field other great managers such as Ruben Hfd (another 10k rep manager) the former host, and Harley Marshall; the two of them are not active atm but may come back. Lots of great 100% distance managers have raced in this league. dan, Chris, Ruben, Harley, and recently Gary among others have all been champs in this league.

Not only are our race times the fastest among the 100% leagues out there, there are a great variety of strategies being used here, just look at the Elite results before we finish Abu Dhabi in 2-3 days' time. When most if not all the top managers are on the live viewer, the racing is close all the way through, leading to some grand, epic races, especially in the 2nd half of this season. Europe, Belgium, and Singapore yesterday were especially fun. We are also particularly active on the in-race chat. In short, our league is competitive, uses a great variety of strategy instead of copy-paste throughout the field, friendly, and fun.

Other competitive 100% leagues are European Racing League (2.0x speed) (host: Rick Donovan), British Racing League (host: Jamie R), Champions League (1.5x speed) (host: Kim Robins), and Fast and Furious (2.0x speed) (host: Jamie R)

All these choices would hopefully be good for you if you're looking for competitive 100% distance racing. I've raced in Champions League for a few seasons across 2 teams and can say that it is definite step up if you're looking to find tougher competition, and its race start time is about half a day's difference from the other top 100% leagues. The 2.0x speed leagues will definitely shorten the play time needed, with European Racing League having the Gary Collyer. BRL is another league with a rich history, managed by one of the most dedicated league hosts in the game, Jamie R. European Racing League and the leagues managed by Jamie R also have rules regarding activity, so expect more active managers/managers who do setups there. One issue with The F1 World Championship in spite of my praise towards it is the amount of backmarker traffic that can come up, but it can be seen as another layer of challenge to some.

Thanks Boomer Kid. I'm not looking to change league as I run a very active league (Formula F1 Asia, 10 seasons now), just wanting to take a look at the best leagues as to how they approach the game with their strategies etc and perhaps come along and watch the odd live race.

Most leagues just use the same strats up and down the field, especially the Hards Obsession (admittedly I have to do this sometimes), which is why The F1 World Championship is a breath of fresh air to me. When the racing is close, KERS tactics and so on also come into play and are very important in determining the difference between 1st and the tail end of the points.

Experience racing with the best is still the best teacher though. Observing can help, but you've really got to be in the race to really nail into your memory what works and what doesn't for you. >:D
