The usage of real weather is really cool. However, it is really hard to tell what's going to happen when your race comes around. I understand this means parsing a weather prediction, so it might be wrong, but it would still be nice.

Also, if you could display the track's current local time too. This would help if I want to go manually look up the weather with a third party tool. Those tools tend to use the location's time instead of your personal local time.

About live weather, you can already see if it's raining or not during practice. Sometimes it changes so quick that you feel the game isn't synchronised.

About current water levels of track displayed in practice, this topic was suggested so many times that would be better to fix it with some explanation of why it can't be done or a little update if this would ever be in the game.

Right. It can change faster than the single-day scope you are given.

Almost all weather stations show hourly for the current day. They do not need to show that, but if they displayed current time it would be easier to look up myself.

In this example I've done a practice lap when it was raining. It was saying perfect an hour ago, but look:
478x300
As you can see it's not raining anymore, so my driver is saying that car setup is wrong for wings and height.

I think this is a good way to display current weather isn't it ?????

You are missing my point. The game suggest to you to practice in the same weather. Currently it is difficult to tell if the practice weather has any possibility to match the race weather.

I was not asking about current. I was asking the giving some way to get an hour break down so I can make a more informed decision about the race. I know weather is unpredictable sometimes, I even said that in my original post.

Then in my second post I *repeated* that it would be nice to know the track's local time so that I can look it up myself. I do not see how that is a problem.

You can just look in the advanced guide and find almost all the exact weather stations for each track. A few are "off" but it gets you very close.

The point is the game has no proper weather forecasting which makes it more of a lottery than based on a strategic decision made with available information. Even Wunderground cannot accurately reflect exactly when the rain will start or stop, and I personally find little use in it; even if Wunderground shows green bars of rain throughout, in the live viewer the rain can be starting or stopping at any time, with no indication.

In the old iGP, there was at least proper weather forecasting on the live viewer, telling when the rain will start or stop in x minutes. This allows managers to make strategic decisions based on available data, which is how it should be, rather than just rolling dice. Preferably weather forecasting should be enough for one to have information available for both pre-race and real-time live viewer management. Some luck is still involved, but at least the decision making skills of the manager is tested rather than their luck.

There are races where Wunderground says it will rain in the middle of the rain and yet the race proceeds to be dry throughout as well. Point is, all those out-of-game weather forecasting sites are not a good substitute for any proper in-game weather forecasting the game could have, and once had at least on the live viewer in old iGP. And I say all this as someone who's won multiple races in the wet and changeable conditions in the new iGP.
