The Advanced Guide speaks of using a "swapping strategy" for the chief designer role for building the "next season design". I was wondering if you need to keep both CD on the payroll for that to work, or is it ok to sell one?
As Nelson says, you can definitely sell off a Chief Designer halfway into the season without any repercussion on the next season design...the contribution is made on a per-race basis and once contributed, does not disappear in any way.
