Hi sorry if this has been answered somewhere before I could not find answer myself. If I get a yng lad from academy and he reach above 5* would I be able to extend his contract for another 50 races once he does or is this not possible as with transfers? Kinda would be weird if it's not possible makes investing in yng driver pointless

The answer is yes, you can extend a contract for a driver with a higher level than your manager level who is already employed by your team.
What you can't do is scout or offer a new contract to a driver who is not already employed by you.

Yeah that's very reasonable approach. I invested alot of money and coins to find yng perspective drivers in youth academy. In 7 races time of training their * raised from 2.5 to 4 and I know that by the end of season they both gonna be over 5* specially one of them who is really perspective for long term as he is 51 kg 164 cm and 17y talent 7

You can extend their contract. But you can't re-hire them should they leave your team while their level is higher than your manager level. So make sure to extend before their contract expires.
