Extra Fuel

In the last race I pit for 17 and 18 laps worth of fuel for my last stints and ended up with 20 and 21. Didn't notice it till I checked why I was 1-2 seconds a lap slower than my peers. My fuel consumption didn't decrease and I didn't change the amount of fuel to be taken on for the pit stops, so going off process of elimination it must be a bug. This was using the Live Race Viewer.

When your cars entered the pits, had you made any adjustments shortly before the pit stop to the amount of fuel the cars would receive, or was the amount the cars would receive unchanged, using what you set on the Strategy page?

Okay. I will see if our developers can investigate this to figure out what happened.

This probably answers a question I was about to post, so will ask here. Does the game take into account the weight of fuel? by Yunus's answer I take it as it does. I would also like 3 Token's thank you, lol

Hi Peter, yes, fuel is taken into account.

I can only provide tokens if there is a genuine reason to, such as a terrible inconvenience or bug!
