Driver with low health

Hi,
I bought today a new driver of nice level..
Unfortunately his health was too low and he will only be at 70 percent for tonight's race.
Does that have a significant impact over his upcoming performance?
If yes, I have a very bad retiring driver with lots of 1 in skills.

If we consider that my new driver will lose too much competitivity, should I rather use that driver instead so I can train a bit more my new driver?
Or will my 70 percent driver remain quite competitive?

You can race your driver with a health of just 20% (no lower than 20%) and he will not be affected as his starting health will still be green 100%. This is due to a bug within the game that has yet to be fixed.
