Why am I paying money for a game that doesn't do what I tell it to do?

Did you check the "win every race automaticly so I won't have to think for myself" box in your settings?

I think "doesnt do what I tell it to do" suggests that actually I can and am thinking for myself. Now run along.

if your on about pit stops at the end when you have no "stints" showing.... pretty sure you need to actually press pit, or when it autopits it puts in the same fuel/tyres as your last stint

Easiest thing to do would be to allow you to have 7 stints or so instead of 5

Nah its some shit towards the end of that race when it started raining. I unticked both pit and follow weather strategy well before the pit lane lane and it pitted the guy anyway

Then your untick was already to late.
Drivers choose a different line when driving into pit. They need to know that before crossing a specific point on the track otherwise the will pit.

Is that a theory or a very messed up fact? I ticked the boxes later on on a lap earlier on in the race and it pitted them fine. Why should it be different for deciding whether they need or need not pit?

You said that you unticked the "follow wheather strategy" box. Maybe that was already to late.
I never had any problems with this or heared that somebody had, so my guess is that it was your fault.

Hi Christophé, could you tell me a little bit more about what you were trying to do?  I had a look at the logs of this race and it looks like you were turning the weather strategy on and off quite a lot.  Each time you switched it off, it looks like you turned it back on 15-20 seconds later.  Were you actually doing that, or is this a bug?  I'm sorry for the confusion in any case.

I dont remember turning it back on/off at that sort of rate, maybe over the course of the last few laps because a couple of times my drivers went on to the wrong tyres. I put one of my drivers who needed to pit for fuel onto wet tyres, and wanted to keep the other one out. I turned the weather strategy off on that guy, aswell as unticking the pit box, and then found him exiting the pits on hards.

The whole thing about unscheduled stops is made harder than it should be anyway. Nico if you haven't seen anybody complain about dodgy weather happenings or unscheduled stops then you're either blind or looking in the wrong place. There have been plenty of people I race with who have moaned about being screwed over by it. Whether they've complained about it on here is another thing.

They have complained about other things happen with pitstops but no one complained about the "follow weather strategy" box.
