Hello,

I joined an elite league mid season and now we've moved on to a new one. I expected car dev points to be in the 40s as I have a good CD but it's on average 15. I don't know if I'm expected to complete a full season before I get my CDs full potential or if this is a bug. Please help.

regardless of whether you join mid season or at the beginning, as i understand it you get the Design points reset regardless when you join a new league, this isn't a bug, its a rule the Dev's have had to implement to stop players from League hopping

That's not my question. I know points reset when you join a new league. I've already taken that hit. We are on to a new season now and I'm still given lower points than my CDs usually give. I thought my explanation was clear but apparently not.

Have you changed Staff at any point during the previous season?

also read back on you first post, your first sentence makes it sound as if you changed to two different Leagues not progressed to another Season. therein lies the confusion.

From the looks of it, you left your league, F1 Championship, when the season was over. This meant your car had generated it's new season design, which became the current season's design and the new season design was set to start over.

You joined your new league while it was in its mid-season, and you only had 6 races to develop the next season design. This is why when the new season began, your design isn't where it normally would be.

Thanks for the explanation. I thought 6 races would be good enough to develop the design for the new season. I've already lost quite a bit of price money and reputation for joining mid season, now it looks like I've to endure a full season of loss which might not be sustainable. Not ideal but it is what it is. Thank you both for clarifying
