What if 3 lowest ranked teams in elite and top 3 in pro would have a "promotion" race after each season ? Top 3 in this race will compete in elite and 4,5,6 in pro next season. Something like this is often used in football.
This refers to full leagues only of course.

And how do they race? As cars with the base next season stats like they would be at Australia? Or with stats like the last race of the season, possibly near maximum?
You also realize that the cars in the upper tiers have higher cap limits and starting values...how is that fair to any lower tier team? The only way is if the upper tier teams are managers that have quit.
Also, how many more layers/lines of coding would be needed?
It's an interesting idea, but there are too many special case situations in doing a race like this.

good suggestion, but unlikely to be implemented soon unfortunately...

1. The track for the race should be selected randomly.
2. Car value should be as if teams start in rookie.
3. No sponsors incomes and wages.
4. New engines for everyone for that race.
I don't think it's very complicated to make an update like this, but still there are more importaint things to add (like switching autoboost on/off). I just have an idea and maybe developers will take note.
