Hello everyone!

This is my league:

League not found or inactive

And I think there is what has to be a bug or something like that.

We have a player who joined the league 8 days ago in the Elite tier and he's been inactive since then, so he had a very weak reset car, didn't setup the races, didn't manage spying, research and didn't apply any design points. Actually, he's not even logged on since he joined. Now our season has ended today, new calendar has been released and cars has been reset. It just happened this guy I was talking about is starting new season with the best car and he got SEVEN 50s out of eight car stats! How is that even possible?!
Actually, something similar has happened last season, another player who only did 9 races the previous season started last season with SEVEN 50s out of eight car stats and he actually just won the camphionship, well deserved I must add cause he's always been active and attending races. For that reason, I didn't even pay much attention to this "kinda bug" even tho we discussed it last season but didn't give it too much importance. But now? Again? And happened to a totally inactive player who only joined 8 days ago and never even logged on since then? ...... This HAS to be a bug.

Your thoughts?

Hi, it is not a bug. When players switch leagues the next season's car design is not reset. It continues developing until a player begins a new season in whichever league they are in. Their design progress will return to normal development when a new season begins.

Okay, not a bug. But totally not fair then. A player just joined the league and also been inactive since then and he can start with all 50 stats without doing ANYTHING for it, in spite of the rest of long term players who struggled and took a lot of time, effort, tokens and patience to see themselves start way behind that player?? Nope, not fair.

Is it fair that a new player joins a rookie league and finds it is dominated by an experienced player opening a new account and having Talent 20 drivers donated from a primary account? This isn't a bug either, but just like "second season development" is a feature which is exploited by experienced players to the detriment of newcomers.

Are you for real Kevin? What does that even matter with this? Are you talking about my drivers? Do I have to say again I didn't get them from my first account (which by the way is named Peste Noire) but took them reading forums and searching in the black market? What's your problem?

@Dea. I don't have a problem I have an opinion, isn't that what forums are for?

I was simply pointing out that the game has certain features that experienced and knowledgeable managers can exploit. One of these is the second season maximum design feature which many managers are aware of and which in reply #3 above you say is unfair. Another is the ability for experienced managers to recruit Talent 20, low level drivers into rookie teams that are only 1 or 2 days old from other accounts and use these drivers to dominate lower tiers and boss it over inexperienced managers.

Neither of these is a bug and neither is strictly speaking unfair but to exploit them requires knowledge and experience of the game which many newer managers don't have. For less experienced low tier managers to have a championship or promotion taken away by experienced managers using these tactics must be demoralising. You recruited two talent 20 drivers into a new team which was only one or two races old and used these drivers to win promotion in your rookie season at the expense of (in your own words) "the rest of long term players who struggled and took a lot of time, effort, tokens and patience". In my opinion, this falls into the same category as a manager who gets maximum design by exploiting the second season development trick.

And I can agree on the fact that both things can be categorized under the same kind of "unfair", but that's not my case since I haven't even built a driver academy for any of both my accounts and I already said many times how and where I got my drivers, also providing links to the threads here on the forum where other players gave away their drivers in the black market. So that's a Robert Cole issue, not mine. And I replied you in private btw. Have a nice evening.
