Does anyone know if after changing a drivers name and nationality if it causes the driver to be worth less when attempting to Auction them?

I have a driver that prior to changing his name and such he was work approximately 6.5 - 6.9 million if I Auctioned him. Now, if I check he is only worth 3.9 million. Which is less than the two junior drivers, one of which I've only just scouted.

As far as I know, no, the driver details aren't any way linked to their auction or sale price. Are you sure you aren't confusing another drivers auction price with his?
