Newbie here, going pretty well and get the general game play. Just wondering though, I'm burning through a lot of cash. Is there smart ways to keep the budget under check, maybe even silly common things everyone does that wastes it also?
- Sign the cheapest engine, fuel, and tyre suppliers ($430k cost per race vs. up to $660k)
- Watch ads for free parts instead of developing the manufacturing facility
- Improve Design and Technology facilities first
- Wait to build a simulator and youth academy until a few more levels later
- Don't develop the Offices and Hospitality facilities at all
- Sign iRacing as the primary sponsor (3 tokens per race with highest bonus payout)
- If you're meeting race objectives often, sign Thomas Hillfinger as your secondary sponsor (highest payout overall with bonus). If you aren't, sign WTF1 (highest payout without bonus, allowing you to play it safe).
