Hi,

I'm looking to start a private group, which has an interest in identifying and utilising the best strategies for the various aspects of iGPManager.

This could be;

Race Strategy (inc. under changable conditions, due to weather, competitors etc)

Staff Hiring/Training

Car Development
Why? Fun.

I'm a programmer with a keen interest in modelling, simulation and game theory.
I'm primarily interested in modelling race strategy, developing tools to simulate race strategies and improve situational awareness.

I'm after intelligent people who are going to brainstorm, collect data, do research, poke around and work together. If you consider yourself a hacker and have similar interests, we should work together.

PM me

Little note: I am not looking to, or for people who want to cheat or break iGP, I'm looking to do some awesome research and strategy evolution, perhaps writing some kick ass software along the way.

If you don't want to work out the answers, what is the point in playing at all? :p

Yeah, this is just a league like any other in this game but private.

I think this stuff is difficult.

If everything you need is available to read, how do you gain any advantage?

It's not about making it available to read, but having it in the first place :)

At the moment, all we do is pray that what we do is right, we look at the past results and see that a 2 stopper is best because that's what everyone else did. What I want to know is how can you detirmine when a 3 stopper, or 1 stopper is viable, what are the conditions, what are the risks, etc.

You know, proper strategy, like the F1 guys :D

That's the idea any way.

Also, not just race strategy, but looking at the other simpler bits like driver development and car development.

A lot of this stuff can be sourced on your own. Merely by taking a different strategy or risking something different, and focusing on other things than what is the norm.

A tad sad. And whats worse is that you seem to be gloating about it.

Luke, you should take David Brady in your research team. He seems to win on any strategy and tires.

Don't make me look like the biggest sad-act, i've got prob 19 pages[1 per race, and extra for training/design, but so does most of my old league] and the possibility of ~70 races for analysis
