Lag In live races

Several players in the league I race in have been experiencing problems with lag during live races. This seems to have been worse since the updates have come into effect.

Personally I have found that my phone has the most lag which is an i phone and can freeze for several laps at a time, I have also found the tyre temp bar does not always appear. On either of my pads the lag is not as bad and only lasts a few seconds. Both of these run on android.

If I use my laptop I have no issues. These all run from the same wifi internet connection. Other players in my league have reported similar findings.

Hi James, when our iOS update arrives, it should eliminate that freezing you are experiencing on iPhone. As for the lag on the Android devices, can you delete the cache and data and see if that helps things?

Please note if you have an account not linked to Facebook or an e-mail address, deleting the data of the app will log you out and cause you to lose access to it (at which point I'll help recover access). Please make sure your accounts are accessible via Facebook login or e-mail address before deleting data.

Do we have a date yet for the apple update? With regards to my android devices I clear the cache data on them daily so it shouldn't be causing the issue.
I will check with other members of my league to see what devices they are playing on.

I don't have a date for the iOS update. I think it may be this week or next.

Can you ask them to post here on what particular lag issues they mean? If they're seeing the cars be jerky, this should be fixed now with our update released on Friday.
