Australia gp, season 1
4 stints: 40L, 56L, 56L, 58L.
My driver forgot to do the 4th stint, how is that possible?

Did he run out of fuel?

Yeah, he made only 3 stints, at the final of the third stint he just run out of fuel, but he had 1more stint on the strategy.

Did you watch the race in LiveTiming or Live 2D?
Did you click on any button there before your drive should stop?

were u watching 2d? on push hard every lap? or cancel the pit stop assuming you had enough fuel to do the 15 laps you calculated for

http://igpmanager.com/play/?url=race-result/49218/26300

without seeing how much fuel you ended each stint with [based on a rough calculation you'll be lucky that you never ran out on the 2nd stint as well] if you could post a screenshot it would show

Also it would appear that you would have needed a 5th stint [10/15/15/15] leaves u 3 laps short

I wans't watching LiveTiming or Live2d.
Even if I had forgot to add the next stint, he should've stopped, like he used to do (that's how you make 6stints on strategy).
But he just kept running...

It's known that (mostly inexperienced) drivers can make errors with regards to fuel and pitstops. Quite peculiar that it happens to both your drivers in the same race though! I think mr. Joe Holmes has something to say about this too :-D

I'd say Andrew needs to investigate what's going on here..

My other  driver had a different problem. I'll just post the screenshots below, but with that one, run out of fuel with a correct strategy...

The second driver's problem was that he went to the pits with 6.4L of fuel, and the laps were consuming about 3.7L, so he should've made 4laps more in the 1st,2nd,3rd,4th stints.

He was not entering the pits with 6.7L of fuel. You've short fueled him by 1L for the extra lap.

He had 6.7L the lap before he pitted, and since your pit box was before the start finish line it doesn't show up in the stats. It looks like you're using about 3.7L per lap, so he was pitting with 3L or so in the tank.

anyway, I'm reporting the driver gnatyuk, because that was strange.

And today something strange hapenned here, I just entered the LiveTiming saw what were the positions (didn't clicked on anything else)
After a few hours, when I went to the previous race tab both of my drivers made a unscheduled stop.

what's going on guys?

The problem was not your driver though, so why report?

You calculated the fuel wrong. It was your own mistake.

In the future, work out your fuel for each stint separately, not the total race length.

Check it again dude.

The first driver had to make 1more stint, but he kept running.

The pre-race strategy was  40L, 56L, 56L, 58. After the third stint he didn't stopped to make the 4th stint.

The post is not about J Simon race.

Oh right, I see what you mean. The only thing I can think of is that you've hit the pit button accidentally... If you haven't then I'm stumped. I've been having a few problems with guys pitting myself.

In a race I did yesterday both my drivers pit on the last lap of the race when they still had 2L left before the finish line. For some reason they entered the pits though instead of going for the finish line. It didn't really matter though because they didn't lose any positions.

Kind of related. In my last race my driver fitted the wrong tyres: http://igpmanager.com/play/?url=race-result/36311

I set him up to do 1 stop with hard tyres. He qualified and started on hards, but then fitted softs at the stop.

I needed to win in order to have a chance at the teams championship, and I was on target to do that but the soft tyres killed any chance of that happening.

You put 33ltrs in for 12laps after putting 36ltrs in for 9laps so theres the problem there. your driver pitted early cause he seen this and went in early.

I think he is referring to this one Norrie:

His driver stayed on the track and ran out of fuel rather than pitting.... or atleast that's what I think he is meaning.

Wow so much to reply to

@T Qih: Regarding Simon. Because your pit box is before the start/finish line on this track it shows thats you pitted with 6.7l, although you would have competed that lap. leaving with approx 3l [not enough for another lap] thats why they pitted.

Regarding Gnatyuk, Its looks IMO like the pit stop was cancelled in 1d/2d but if your saying you were not online. If you havent already please create a ticket here
http://igpmanager.com/account/helpdesk/index/p/index/index giving as much details as possible.

@Port Stevo: Can you post a screenshot [as it will show your pre-race strategy on the right], only thing that should make it deviate from that is advanced weather strategy, or a change in the actual 1d/2d

I just checked the post race and it shows softs on the right. It must have saved it incorrectly as I loaded the strategy from the previous season where I ran hards for both sints.
