Hey,
I started playing recently and I can't quite get the idea behind the driver's level. The talent determines the maximum potential of the driver, so I'd call it the most important attribute of a driver, but still it seems like that the "rating" (level) either neglects this or simply treats it the same way as any other attributes.
My two driver's talents are 5 and 12. The Talent 5 driver has slightly better stats, he's 5 years older, 10kg heavier, so overall he's the worse and constantly outperformed by the Talent 12 driver. Which is not really a surprise, my problem is that both of them are level 8 (currently the highest it can go). I don't really understand what's the point of the "level", if it gives a totally false picture of the driver's capabilities.
This problem is apparent to me on the market, where driver level is the only thing I can sort by (that is related to the driver's performance), even though the level seems pretty irrelevant to me for said reasons. And actually on the market I see far worse drivers than my Talent 12, yet they are on the same level.
Long story short: what's the point of the driver level in its current form and why is it the only relevant thing I can sort by?
