Game keeps crashing on IOS in raceviewer

I tried to view the race, but instead te game crashed multiple times. I have done my iPad on and off, but it didn't work.
It keeps happening, on other things the app just does what I want him to do, but here it doesn't.

Hi Rik, on your iPad, please open Settings.
Look Safari, tap on it, then scroll down and tap "Clear History and Website Data."
Tap "Clear History and Data" and try again.

Wait, this is maybe a silly question, but how will clearing my history and website data on Safari help me running the raceviewer on the app on my jPad?
