League not found or inactive

Our Rookie league seems to have some kind of auto fill setting which was very helpful to get us established but is now making it tricky to get rookies to join.

We seem to get computer generated players (i may be wrong) after a short period of time after a space becomes available in Rookie.

Can it be switched off?

Cheers

It's not an auto-fill. Your league is on the "search leagues" page so it's one of the first things new players see when they want to begin their careers. iGP gets a lot of managers per day but unfortunately for us league owners not many of them are active.

Hope this helped,

PS, do you also find it annoying when rookies join your league and then never log in again? it's like, what's the point of making the account in the first place?!

Correct, not auto-fill. It's new players who join the game, don't really find it to their liking for whatever reason, or maybe forget they even downloaded the game, or maybe played it for a few minutes, and don't return ever again.

It happens in every game, by the way, but here it is more noticeable because the only way to play is to join a league.

Wow. That is pretty rapid recruitment :D

Thanks for the replies. I will just have to keep on kicking!

I find that typically for every 15-20 rookie members that join my league, I get 1 active player.  Fortunately, the league will refill very quickly in the Rookie tier.  Those that go inactive are nearly always immediately inactive... I give them a couple of days before removal...
