I can see why your car pitted, your fuel consumption on lap 58 was 2.5 litres, so when lap 59 finished with 2.4 litres remaining, your car pitted.

But it can ended the race without pitting.

Based on what I see for the race results from that race on Danica, I'm fairly confident the fuel in the car was not enough to complete lap 60 without having ran out of fuel. At least, I estimate the car would have ran out of fuel at least 1-300 meters before the finish line, which is why the driver automatically pitted. Not a pretty way to end the race, when ideally, coasting to a finish would have potentially cost far less positions.

Hopefully you see what I mean.

Yeah, I noticed that too. There can probably be some solution I could pitch to the developers about it, but it would not be very high on the list priorities as there is more important work still to do.
