The best solution

I know this is literally the newest feature you have added to the forums and you are probably working on it, but I feel this would also be useful for other managers until these issues get fixed.

First of all, when you select a comment as being the best solution, it creates a duplicate instead of moving the comment up to the top. This looks strange if you have long posts.

URGENT: 2nd of all, once you have set something as the best solution you can not bring it back to being a normal post. If you delete the duplicate message, both the original and the duplicate disappear. Pls don't make this mistake.

And Lastly, anyone can set a post as the best solution instead of it just being the thread creator. Idk if currently there is a limit on how many posts can be the best solution.

I will change the thread as soon as these get rectified, or a person of higher authority will close the thread once it becomes irrelevant

This is the intended effect, because:
- If the best solution is many pages away from the original post, it is duplicated in order to keep the original timeline of the thread. Perhaps we can better isolate the rest of the thread with a gap underneath the best solution.


Fortunately I can reproduce this problem, and will notify the devs.

I'm not sure what you mean here. I logged in as you and didn't see what you were talking about. Can you clarify please?
