The league and events is more for advertising your league to gain managers or promoting your league events.
Don is correct if you pit both cars at once the second car will wait for the 1st car to finish the pit stop before it will start. So you will lose 4 to 6 seconds in the pits. Just pit them on different laps to get around this.
