Auct war bids did not register

Hi guys.
I was in an 'auction war' for this CD.

It got quite far, just me and the one guy, and then it did not want to register any of my bids anymore, it's like the game hung.
There was no issue whatsoever on my mobile connection.
Please assist.
I feel miffed having lost many tokens for nothing. I won't have minded losing them had I got the CD.
