Hi.

I'm currently a level 8 manager and I purchased both the test rig and the wind tunnel, and have both set on Very High. It was working great as I was developing the car's parts for the current season. This was the rate of improvement I'd usually get:

"This season performance: Sidepods (+10%), Front wing (+10%), Rear wing (+10%), Internals (+7%)

Next season performance: Sidepods (+2%), Front wing (+2%), Rear wing (+2%), Internals (+2%)"

So around mid season I had most of my parts well developed and decided to focus on improving the design for next season, so I turned the slider all the way to the right. I was expecting to get the same rate of improvements as before, only focused on the next season performance, but this is what I'm getting daily:

"This season performance: Chassis (+1%), Front wing (+1%), Suspension (+1%), Internals (+1%)

Next season performance: Chassis (+3%), Front wing (+3%), Suspension (+3%), Internals (+2%)"

Is this correct? Test rig and Wind Tunnel only work for current season performance?

My next season design is still way underdeveloped so it's not like it doesn't have any room for improvement.

Thanks for the help.

[*]A component may only be redesigned once every 48 hours at a minimum
[*]Next season gains are based on current season performance levels
When a team focuses a lot of energy on one season it has a negative impact on the next. This prevents a team from ever becoming unstoppable

[/list]
Any gain is based on the current car %, assuming your parts % is now 20%+ higher than it was earlier in then season, the increases will now be massively reduced
