Race 57993, watching with the free Timing + Live Control viewer.
My tire setup was softs at start, and 2 stints of hards after.
It was raining at the start of the race so on lap 2 I tried to switch to Wets but instead it switched me to hards as in my original race setup.
I decided to go with it and at lap 8 I tried to switch to Wets but got switched to hards again.

After lap 18 it finally allowed me to switch to Wets(Full)
Which tells me it was following my original setup instead of what I set in Live Controls.

Not sure if it has anything to do with it but I'm running Google Chrome with Java 7 on Windows 7.

We will investigate why this happens.
Since we know that there are some issues with Chrome and the livery there might be also some issues with the live control viewer but that is only a guess.
It could be a try worth to try live control with a different browser.

I was also in the same race, and my pit crew fitted Intermediates on to my car when I selected Wet (Full) from the unscheduled stop drop down.

From the log:

CommentaryMessage[info:R Loginov switches to intermediate tyres. priority:2 seconds:15

Full log for the first 1/3 or so of the race: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/51494252/Race%2057993.txt

I've been investigating this for a while and it seems these problems will appear in the current system when:

It's raining at the start of the race

You try to change tyres before your weather strategy would do so automatically.

You leave "Follow Weather Strategy" ticked or "Unscheduled Stop" unticked.
The way almost all of this works needs a redesign.  I'd like to make some simple tweaks to fix this, but I'm afraid a simple fix is very likely to cause unintended side effects.  So it will take some time before this can be fixed properly.  In the meantime, please select "Unscheduled Stop" when you try to make changes to your strategy in this kind of situation.

Edit: This will only help if you're using the 2D interface. I can't think of a workaround for when you're using the free live controls, except just waiting for your Advanced Strategy to kick in and change your tyres automatically. I'll push this up the development priority list.

I'm pretty sure I had "Unscheduled Stop" ticked just before I pitted for what it's worth. Was also using 2D viewer.

David, ok I see in your case you would need to have deselected Follow Weather Strategy as well as selecting Unscheduled Stop.  I'll get both of these cases sorted out asap.

Good to hear. For now, I hope there won't be more rain races this season :D

Same thing in race which just started. Using the live timing, select wets, hit pit, fits hards.

I
'm last and still on the wrong tyres after 2 stops, I started on pole, forget this!

Just to update, driver finally pitted lap 15, added 0 fuel and took wets (as instructed the first 2 pits where he took fuel and fitted hards!!!) and retired...
