Wet strategy question

Hi all,
I have a question to understand it better.
If I set my race strategy on H/H, then W with more than 3mm and I after 3 laps, if the water never reach 3mm, will I pit to put I or I just go on with my H as my strategy?
I just want to know if the AI is so smart to think that is not raining so much to put W, but still there is water on the track, quite risky to lap with dry tyre, but good solution to switch to Intermediate.
But I don’t think it goes automatically.
Does anyone have any idea about?

If you set it on 3mm wets, the AI won't go for Inters. The AI will go through on hards like you requested.

I think it would be useful to have two different settings to set up both wet tyres.
I mean, something like "if water reaches 3mm mount wet, if it is less mount Inters from 1mm to 2.9mm".
At least we know that we are not running as slick with wet race.
Would it be an idea?.
Btw thanks for your comment, it's very useful.

Rather set it to inters after 1mm rain and to dry tyre after 3 laps...that's wat I do it seems safe for me if I am offline
