Who is the best driver on F1? (Poll)

In my honest opinion it's pretty close between 3 current F1 drivers as in poll above A) Hamilton B) Alonso and C) Vettel for obvious reasons! They are all great drivers Vettel ranks slightly lower than the other 2 as Alonso himself stated when asked who is better driver Hamilton or Vettel? And Alonso said Hamilton. Now Alonso himself is a very complete driver we all know what he is capable of and how he manages to get more from his car with his skills and talent. But when Alonso as a 2 time World champion was in same car as Hamilton who was a Rookie at the time Alonso got beat fair and square. Hamilton has the outright raw speed, which is visible especially in qualifying as the stats say he is the current highest pole record holder he is just lighting quick. In the race his race craft and close wheel to wheel racing is next to none which he illustrated in his rookie season fighting then 2 time World champion who was beating the legend Michael Schumacher couple of seasons ago. And throughout his career he has shown in races how good he is with his race craft when chasing from behind and doing unbelievable overtakes in crazy places on track. Another reason Hamilton trumps both Alonso and Vettel is when it's raining Vettel disappears in wet races Alonso is good but Hamilton shines in changing conditions and wet races time and time again he has shown us his amazing abilities in wet races! Vettel always tends to have No1 driver clause in his contracts he has only faced 1 decent driver as a teammate Ricciardo and we all know what happened that season he got beat. Alonso also has No1 status in most of teams he has been in getting his teammates to even crash on purpose to get wins or have them play second fiddle, he was up against Hamilton and they were neck and neck but Hamilton just edged him considering Alonso then had 2 world championships and Hamilton was a Rookie that's some achievement. Hamilton never has No1 driver status clause and most of his teammates have been a lot stronger than other drivers teammates. Alonso, Button, Rosberg, etc all world champions.

Vettel has only won his 4 straight championships with Red bull, Alonso won his 2 straight championships with Renault and Hamilton has won with two differrent teams McLaren and Mercedes. He is the only driver to have won at least 1 race every season since he started in F1 since 2007!

Also something to keep in mind is that as the poll above actually asks for who is the best driver on the current grid and NOT your favourite driver. That's two different things I'm sure some people even have Marcus Erickson as their favourite driver but you can't say he is the best driver. I'm sure everyone has their own favourite drivers but you cannot deny the stats and talent of Hamilton! I hereby rest my case!

Alonso or Hamilton, these two are some of the strongest drivers ever seen since Senna, these battle the best, qualy the best, play the mind games the best. Vettel is a good driver too, but loses it too much on mind games in my opinion, and Verstappen and Ricciardo just haven't been in a car able to win a championship, so those are in my mind not comparable.

Hamilton is the best driver but I love Bottas.

Verstappen has votes??? Alonso all the way. He has the best memes and social media activity as well.

Come on man, Verstappen may have had some crashes. But there is no denying he has talent. That said, he isn't the best on that grid, but isn't one of the worse either..

In my opinion the best driver is Fernando Alonso, yeah, i'm spanish and i'm young (20 yrs), i had see F1 all my life, duel Schumi-Alonso for me has been the best duel in the f1. Now we have great drivers like Max (my favorite), Sebb, Lewis, Daniel...

thing now is a good moment for enjoy the quality of these boys... but the best drivers for me in the present are Alo, Sebb, Max

Nothing personal with Lewis but... if he wasn't the best car ... another rooster would sing.

I think Stroll is one of the worst F1 drivers of all time. :) 

Νομίζω είσαι πολύ σκληρός με τον Stroll. Δεν θα  γίνει πρωταθλητής αλλα εχει ικανότητες 

Τον θεωρώ άθλιο αδερφέ. Δεν έκανε ποτέ κάτι που να δείχνει ικανότητα. Και εκείνη η 3η θεση πέρσι είδαμε πως έγινε.

In my opinion, Vettel and Alonso are the most talented players and maybe now some young drivers are coming out.

Alonso for me. He has worked wonders over the years with cars that are quite frankly awful.
