Just wondering if someone playing on a mobile device can be competitive with someone playing on PC ? What's people's opinions?

I know mobile can watch ad's and get free parts as a result.  Other than that, I know of no difference.

You can easily be competitive on both, only on laptop you can see a little bit more data from past races (tyre wear, fuel), and watch ads, but there isn't a big difference.

Wrong Rik, you can see the same info on past races. It just takes learning the system.

Now during the race, you really can't get as much info because you are limited by screen space, but the 2 systems are meant to be nearly identical.

If you're playing in a 1 car league, no problems managing push and KERS on mobile. ;)

Sorry, I don't play that much on Mobile phone so I don't remember that that good, most of the times I don't need to see the tire wear and such too. But I though you can't see everything.......

One of the main advantages of desktops or even tablets over mobiles is the ability to use Boost (KERS) on two cars simultaneously. The extra information available on timing is also a perk.

That said, I don't think either of these are a significant hurdle for mobile users to overcome. In one car leagues the Boost situation is equal, for example, and the extra timing information may not always be that useful. We do want to provide more timing information in a future mobile update, though, so that is also more level as well.

I much prefer the desktop version so will tend to use this if I am in the house for my races. All the information available on the browser version can probably give you a slight advantage over someone using the APP. I especially like the tyre information that you can get from all the cars and also use the sector times to try pinpoint when the tyres are about to fall off the cliff so to speak.

Then why are you commenting with a moderator account on something you don't full know about. It's fine if you would post that from a regular account, but as a mod, you need to be factual.

It is possible to do a small trick to use kers on both drivers.
Press KERS button for one driver then open other driver's tab and use his/her KERS.
Doing that you lost control to the first car KERSed, but you just have to go there and press again to stop using.
