I was doing my first stint and like always i let my pitstops be done automatically. When my driver just was about to stop for the pitstop he ran out of fuel. Really annoying and this needs to be fixed.

To make me feel better can't someone make sure i don't loose any rep? :)

I'll have a look at that tomorrow.

Did you change your push amount in the last lap?

ooooh, yeah i changed it half way around the lap to "take big risks". my consumption before the last lap was 3,6 and i had 3,7 starting the lap, so that explains it...
How much more fuel/lap does pushing result in? maybe there should be some safety margin to prevent this from happening.

That depends on the track and the fuel consumption of the track. Another factor are the fuel supplier and the engine you're using and even the driver has an influence on the fuel consumption.
If we would change the push amount of the driver if he has not enough fuel to complete the lap than maybe someone who is in 2d will report this as a bug and will change it to take big risks so i guess that wouldn't help either. Just add more fuel next time then this won't happen again.
