I had been thinking on some ideas for the game:
1) Tyres
I think that it would be a great idea to have 5 slick compounds, because actually we only have 3 usable compounds (MEDIUM tyres are, at the moment, totally useless).
The list of compounds (up to 7 different tyre compounds) would be the following one:
ULTRASOFT (US) SUPERSOFT (SS) SOFT (S) MEDIUM (M) HARD (H) || INTERMEDIATE (I) FULL WET (W)
*The tyres would have to be correctly calibrated (with the right correlation of their max speed and tyre wear)
**They shouldn't be as hard as the real F1 tyres
2) Practice sessions
Raise the number of the practice laps from 5 to 7, in order to know which strategy apply
3) Safety Car, Yellow and Red Flags
I think that can be interesting for the game to implement these features.
4) Crashes, spins and other failures (like punctures or gearbox issues)
PS) Feel free to leave your opinion

I won't give any opinion on your ideas, just help you with #2 (Strategy)
I don't trust practice to do my strategies at all. I always look to my past races and if I'm trying a new compound, I go for a reasonable stint always looking what other people had done in the past.

Is this the second or third poll you've put up for Ultra-soft tyres? Didn't you like the results of the previous poll? ;-P

I accept the results, but I can try it again.
PS) It's the implementation of the
Ultrasoft (and recalibrate proportionally all the tyres) or recalibrate the actual SS and M tyres

Where are superhards? ;-)

In my opinion, with 5 "slick" tyre compounds*, it's enough. The
SUPERHARD would be useless.
Thanks by the feedback Rik

We are advised that the development team for this game is small. So regardless of whether or not an additional tyre compound is a good idea (and once again it seems the majority don't think it is), do we really want this small team to spend a great deal of time and effort coding a seventh compound. I imagine it would be much quicker and easier to tweak the ones we already have to give us more strategy options.
Also IMHO there are more important issues for the devs to address such as:
Excessive design penalties for moving league.
Second season design boost.
Weather.
Advanced strategy.
An option to disable auto KERS if you are temporarily disconnected from the live race.
I'm sure there are more but for me that little lot would have a much higher priority than US tyres.
Regarding safety cars, crashes and yellow flags, they have been discussed at length on this forum many times before. Random events only benefit managers who are unable to win because they are either much lower level than their competitors, they don't develop cars correctly or employ ineffective strategies. We already have random weather and that alone causes all manner of rants on this forum so whilst yellow flags and safety cars might mix up the order I don't think they would be hugely popular, especially if they became championship deciders.

I don't know about the tyres, but I like the idea of the crashes, safety car and so on. There should be some extra factors on the race rather than just being the best team and the strategy
And I know the team is small, but new racetracks would be good some time this year. Baku, COTA, Austria, Korea maybe, ... I prefer this rather than having tyres added.
Also, maybe apply some winter tsting during that day space between seasons for the teams that were not on the top 5, so they can get some advantage agains the better teams and make the season more fun
