not sure if this is a bug or suggestion....

Surely the higher you finish the previous season the further along the pit lane your box should be, after coming 2nd last year my box is almost right at the start of the pit lane so i ALWAYS get help up in the pits, Today i lost 4s+ as i couldnt release while 10 or so cars all piled past me into there pit boxes :( but has been consistent all season, doesnt help that my main competition has his box further along than me [even though i beat him last season] so he gains [or i lose] time every pit stop

EDIT: Before i get asked lol

https://igpmanager.com/play/?url=race-live/63975

14093 - 1st
13477 - 2nd
16480 - 3rd

2nd is 2s from 1st, normal pit stop, 3rd is 1s behind 2nd [pit stop is 0.1s slower] but loses close to 4s

I'll check after race the actual time for pit stops to rule that out [0.1s difference between them] 2nd place went from + 0:02.115 to + 0:01.928 & 3rd from + 0:03.301 to + 0:07.331

I thought that's how it was in regular F1 though? First place team = first pit box?

I didn't actually know you could be held up though, that's interesting.

f1 do it that way, but being held up here? i mean in the pits both of your cars go through each other if you pit them on the same lap

On most of the tracks first place team has first pit box but there are also tracks where first place team has the last pit box in real f1.

BTT: It's possible to get held up at the moment if there are many teams coming in at the same time. This might get solved if we order the pit boxes in the opposite. What definetly helps to avoid that would be to stop either 1 lap earlier or later than the rest.
personally i would say that it's correct at the moment because if someone comes in in real f1 and then many other come in at the same time he has to wait.

Definitely not imagining it. I had the same thing happen to me today in the Royal Rumble. I came first last season so my pit box is the first one, and today I was in second place at Abu Dhabi. I pit on the same lap as first place, and as I was about to leave my pit I got held up by 4th and 5th place coming into the pits. Lost a good 2-3 seconds on the first place runner because his pit was at the other end, so he never got held up. Made it really difficult to catch him lol.
