I had a driver which I never put on sale and magically somehow he was sold. Luckily I had shortlisted him so I could get him back, but because he was sold and then I bought him back again, his salary went from 140k to 618k. I am not very happy with this and if something DOES NOT happen soon, I will NO LONGER be playing this game and will use a different motorsport manager instead!

Yes, that looks weird. He left after exactly 50 races, but the first contract is 20 races and then gets renewed for 50, so he indeed should have been a little bit past the halfway point of his 2nd contract with about 20 races left on it.

This happened to me work my chief designer in the last race of the season for me about a year ago, so my car wasn't as good. Didn't really matter because everyone in my league was inactive.

I'm investigating this case and it does seem to be as you described. Very unusual. There isn't much to go on with this. We may just have to return your Tokens/cash and keep an eye out for another case before we can observe a pattern.
For future reference - we don't take bug reports more or less seriously based on the level of threats included in them. We completely understand the situation is not acceptable when you describe what happened.

The first contract for a scouted driver (from the Academy) or a driver bought from the Transfer Market, is a 20 race contract.
Drivers which are automatic replacements, when a previous driver's contract has run out, are given a 50 race contract.
It's an easy thing to forget to renew contacts, I forgot to renew when I first started and ended losing all my staff! And I couldn't get them back :/
Perhaps we can have a 5 race warning for 'Drivers and Staff' contracts instead of the current 3 day warning. 3 days can go very fast, especially when we are busy with real life matters :-)
