Hopefully my title was correct with the limited amount of room I could write with. But I see why people who are a higher level in a league get xp at a reduced rate. So ppl who are in a lower level can get up to the competitipn. But this also generates a problem. In our league one guy who was a level 16 decided to leave because his lvl was too high and he couldn't get much to advance past his level 16. I can't leave my league because I'm the owner but I am a lvl 15 and I can't advance very much with getting so little xp and reputation from each race. I would like to see the developers increase the deceased rate at which higher lvl people in a league can gain reputation and xp so we don't see people get too high for the league and leave. Because this doesn't let the league grow.

If you are owner of a league wouldnt the option be to try get higher players to join rather then change the whole system? most established leagues will have a lot of regular players and if someone leaves will try to get higher level respective for that league. there are rookie leagues with level 18 people or level 11 in pro leagues its just a way to even it out for the ones currently there. If your the highest in elite at level 15 but your league is competitive and active then you shouldnt have to much issue trying to get higher level players or try filling up rookie and pro and let them level and get promotion so in a couple seasons they could be around same level and your league will still be competitive. If people are worrying about exp and player level only then maybe they are not suitable for your league anyway as they are not likely to stick around and will just league hop to try rush to max exp

We have had this happen twice, with one guy he stuck around for 5 seasons before he needed more xp so he can work on headquarters and a guy recently left who I've been racing with since I first started in this game. Point is that they need more xp to be better in the game and they can't get it in a developing league (and by developing I mean we have only done 6 seasons). This then hurts the developing league b/c they can't attract or hold active people who are a high level

Attracting high level players to a new or developing league with medium level guys is also a problem as this brings great advantage to 'veterans', who not only have better hq, better drivers and better cars, but also have better knowledge of the game. This can result in absolute domination of high level player(s) and elimination of competition and unpredictability, that precious feeling of hope that it's you to become this season champion. Not good neither for 'veterans', nor for regular players.
So I support this idea. There must be a decision for developing leagues.

Thank you for your input. Like I said there needs to be a balance but I feel like veterans should get a little more xp to still develop. After a few seasons I see people right up there with me level wise which is great but then we r all stuck at that level because of the people then working below us.

What if we had a new level to help with the level gap in elite like a master class or something. Just so the gap isnt so large and maybe veterans could get xp at a quicker rate than previously.

I agree with what Matthew is suggesting because i am also a victim of this xp and reputation reduction and not increasing. I had to leave my current league because of this and the league I am currently, I keep losing xp and reputation because my car was reset and I joined the league late. I will also suggest that system consider managers will lower level in higher league to gain more xp and reputation

Okon

As for the xp, the system already helps lower level managers level up quicker. Just read the rules. I’m getting 180 xp per race, because (as of the time of writing) I’m level 11 and the highest manager in my Pro tier is level 18. So my xp gain is calculated to be 40 + 20*(18 - 11) = 180.

As for reputation, it’s based on the Elo rating system, and that doesn’t (and shouldn’t) account for manager level.

I'm personally not to concerned about reputation but getting xp when ur a veteran in a league is difficult. Idk y I get 40 xp a race for comming in 1 and 2 but there is someone in our league who is a higher level than me who joined our league as a rookie and who I still out perform. Also u do get less reputation for being one of the higher levels. Another guy in our league ended up losing reputation even if he came in first and second.

Matthew you are confusing Rep, XP, Manager level and race results.

Like Jason says you do not get more or less rep depending on your manager level. Rep is a calculation that takes account of your race finishing positions and your rep in comparison with the average rep of the league. So if you are a very high rep manager competing in a league of low rep managers you may get minus rep points even if you finish 1-2.

Also the XP you receive is not determined by your finishing positions, it is 40 points plus bonus points based on the difference between your manager level and the highest manager level in your league. If you are the highest level manager you only get 40 points. This is a good system and helps prevent high level managers from dominating leagues because their progress is slower if they are the highest level.

If you want to level up more quickly move to a league with high level managers. It might also give you a bit of a challenge. Why do you need to be higher level when you are already dominating the league you are in?
