As you can see Boffo ran out of fuel in lap 9. This time I didn't fiddle with the strategy window, so there's not really a reason for him to run out. Is it possible this has something to do with the fact that my pitbox is over the finish line? He ran out of fuel between the finish line and my pitbox.. Does the fuel estimation algorithm take the extra 100ish meters into account or does it calculate in "laps"?

Did you change the push amount in the lap where you entered the pit?

Yes I did, but I always do that and this hasn't ever happened to me before. I know it can be bad luck  here, but Joe told me he has had this suspicion with regards to s/f line location a couple times before, so just thought I would go ahead and post it. If you could answer the question in the last line of my post that should rule out any iGP code error

He looks for the distance to the garage but maybe there are some errors in it so that this might be the finish line instead of the garage.
The problem is that you had 3.62 L left and you used 3.55 L the lap before so that might be the problem why you didn't reach the pit.
I will look if I can confirm that he actually calculates to the pit box.

The simulator definetly looks to the pit position no matter where the finish line is.
So you had bad luck or you were a bit short on fuel.
