Promotions

I have already contacted support concerning lack of promotions due to kicking managers but have heard nothing at the moment. Our new season starts on Saturday and unless we can sort this out we will loose at least 4 managers. It does make me think whether it's worth being very active in kicking managers if it effects the league in such a negative way. If the mods could look into this that would be great. League is F1 UK.

I have to agree that something more formal needs to be considered where in cases like this promotion is disabled.

But when you consider the overall stability and performance of the game then unfortunately it is certainly worth taking the new measures that been put in place.

Has anyone got an answer to this problem as I have seen in previous posts this has been resolved and as our season starts tomorrow so if this can't be sorted F1 UK will be loosing managers making the problem even worse.

The thing is, there is an over-abundance of leagues after the kicking of inactives. There was a bubble of leagues due to inactive players taking up the spots, and in many cases, helping to enable promotion. In my opinion those inactives should have been kicked a long time ago. Now that they are kicked, there are fewer players in leagues. It's only natural for the demand of leagues to drop massively after the kick. Unfortunately this means that some leagues will have to be ditched in order for players to be in a competitive league. I'm sorry that happened to yours. But I also want to mention that there's much less punishment for switching leagues now, so it's okay if you switch too. Find a competitive league and have fun.

I see what you are saying but we have 24 active players in this league which will be in danger of folding if we can't sort this out I now have 6 managers who have stated they will leave if not sorted and as previously stated this has been sorted for other leagues. I left this message on our league this morning which probably sums it up. Good morning people I have heard nothing from the mods so have posted saying this problem is urgent. If not resolved I see no point in kicking managers to keep our league active as we actually get punished for doing this even though the developers encourage this. As a result I will not continue to host the league if this is not resolved. If this happens then are there any managers who would like to host F1 UK if so PM me. Fingers crossed we get it sorted.

Not much point me stopping in the league if I aint gonna get promoted in the future.

I think these messages just show how impatient league hosts and players can get when it comes to promotion and demotion. They all want to get to elite now or want to have full leagues now. These feelings were only accentuated by the sudden introduction of kicking of inactives in all tiers, it made people feel like they had the promotion stolen from them when realistically they should never have had it in the first place. The people they were fighting were inactive so if you think about it there weren't really 8 managers/16 cars in the league but in reality less than that with the addition of bots as backmarkers. The only way you can keep your players is by telling them this, promoting your league a lot to get more players and/or letting them leave and getting more loyal players who don't just want to stay to get to elite as quickly as possible but who also want to play with active managers who will fight them for championships.

I can't agree with the last post and please don't comment on a league situation that you don't know the details of. As the guy said above this has been done for other leagues very recently so the same rules should apply to all. I certainly will not be hanging around and will find another F1 game of which there are plenty.
