CSV Export
On desktop you can now export the results of a race or the lap-by-lap race data for a car.
Pruning lap-by-lap data
Starting from today we will be pruning lap-by-lap data for all races older than 2 months. It will take a long time for it to catch up on all the races that have happened before that time, as there will be literally hundreds of millions of laps of data removed in a slow and steady process.

Will data (which position you finished) still be there, but just like with now with races older than teo years, only the results, not lap by lap data?
Jack Basford medal 5193 CEO & CTO 6 years 113 days ago
All race results (finishing position, fastest lap etc.) will remain visible in the game indefinitely. Only the lap-by-lap data (the detailed race log when you click on a cars finishing time) will be pruned.

Will the pruned data include number of pits, tyre choices and such?
As a newbie im often using last seasons data to help refine strats....

I think that the name should also be separated from the team.
With that said I love this new implementation into the game!
Craig Butt medal 5000 6 years 111 days ago
It is only deleting info from two Months ago Mouse, so that should still leave full data for up to almost 3 seasons depending on how many days a week a league runs

Hi Jack
There is a bug with Microsoft Excel 2016
Greg Broz medal 5000 6 years 111 days ago
That doesn't appear to be a bug. You just need to import as a csv
Leo Hackins medal 5000 6 years 110 days ago
OK but we can export it on which software

CSV Export -great
Pruning lap by lap data - not so great.
What giveth with one hand, you take away with the other.
Some sort of grace period would have been nice. Now my previous lap data has all been deleted before I have had chance to export it.
What am I going to have to start over again with strategies, OMG.
Thanks,
Disgruntled legacy subscriber.
