Returning Player (me) in Debt

Hello,

I'm a returning player after ~1 year. Helping out a league where Elite tier only had one team in so he can race against someone. I found that message on Twitter https://twitter.com/iGPManager/status/1024680750363406337 so I jumped back into the game. 

I have a lot of debt from the hiatus - and wondering if there is any possibility of sorting that balance out - as it's quite insurmountable by just selling staff etc.

My advice would be the following:

Drivers:
Having looked at your team...
Sell the current lot, both of them!
The sale will generate much needed income, and also, it's going to shed that crazy wage of 2m per race they are costing you. If you have any reserve drivers, rid them as well unless they are youngsters from your academy.
Promote and develop your own drivers provided you have the necessary tokens to do so from your academy.
Since you say you are returning, this could be a fresh start for you and new drivers from your academy?

Sponsors:
Choose the highest secondary fixed income sponsor, wtf1.
Choose the highest primary cash sponsor: Giggle, 1 token, most bonus cash.

Convert excess tokens if you have any into cash.

Last resort will be an outside investment...

To be fair - I never really built up the academy when I was here before. So probably not going to be much luck there for now. Although noted on driver costs. It is too much really.

Hoping that something could be done so I could build buildings and perhaps get to building the academy. 

I have picked the sponsors as suggested when i returned - but would take with some quick maths best part of 8 seasons to get back on track...

I've relieved most of your debt, the rest of it will have to be reduced by managing your team correctly.
