Can't anymore see cars in game

Hi, from this evening i cannot select anymore what to see during the race. I cannot see the cars in game on the track because the option is locked. I can only see "Icon only" on car display :(:(:(
All the other options are available like audio etc. (quality selected to very high) 
The problem is the same on Android and PC.

Update: it works only from the tablet... but when i exit the race and re-join it reverts to "Icon only" and very low quality.
And from smartphone and PC i cannot still change it

Update 2: worked switching the selector from the tablet many times but remains a strange behaviour... I won't touch it anymore... :) 

Are you making sure to tap the green 'save' button?

Sure :) The strange thing is that now I can see the cars but only if I have the same setting in the app on the tablet. 
Let me explain: if I join a race from smartphone or pc i cannot change the car display if the last time I closed the tablet i didn't leave the same setting I want.
Example: if the last time I played on tablet I choose "Icon only" after on PC and Smartphone se setting is like "locked". In order to see the cars I have to enter the app in the tablet and select "cars" and rejoin the game on PC and smartphone.
Before never happened. 
It's like the tablet controls all :D
