I'm new to the game and stupidly used up all my test runs with soft tyres when the weather was sunny.
Since then the forecast has changed to rain and I've had to fit wet tyres.
However this means my car is set up wrongly. Can I hire a new driver to reset the number of test runs?
If not, can someone give me an indiction of whether I should INCREASE or DECRSEASE each of these variables:
Spring Stiffness
Tyre Pressure
Gear Ratio
Rear Wing
Front Wing
Ride Height
Break Balance

Hiring a new driver wont make any difference, he will just use the previous drivers setup
Setup itself all depends, or drivers stats, car %'s, suppliers, track etc, theres a possible chance that changing anything might result in a worse setup than you already have [although if your willing to risk that]
Theres still a chance that weather will change between now and race time anyway

I generally do not do my test laps until just before race time. In my experience rain forecasts sometimes clear up by the time race day rolls around. Tougher to do this when you're a rookie, but if you have prior seasons' setups to load it's best to load them as a baseline and then do your test runs just prior to changes being locked out for the race.

Generally speaking, wet setups look something like this for me, or this is where I'll start
10
10
10
75
80
55
60
From there, it's very easy to find all feels good. I've had the ride height somewhere up at 80 for a wet race at Australia.
