Intimidation or Friendliness

On one of the Nascar games I played when you pulled up on the rear end of another driver you had an option. You could race friendly and wait for your chance to make a move or you could intimidate and give them a little assistance by bumping and moving them out of your way. But this did not come w/out consequences. The driver you "Moved" could remember and whenever he was behind you rather it was in the same race or a different one DURING THE SAME SEASON he had the option as well but with a little extra assistance for revenge if wanted. Using these optoono you could build rivals or for lack of a better word accomplices. I think this would be a fun and interesting option to add to this game. I know the problem would be at the beginning of a race when all the card are trained up it would pose a problem. Maybe you could implement the option after five laps or implement it when DRS becomes available. Or better yet make it something you can develop in the technology or design options just an idea. Feedback would be great thanks
