In livery Design there is an option to buy a different style of body. 
Does this affect the performance of the car, or is it cosmetic enhancement only?

Cosmetic enhancement only :D ! Basically a waste of tokens if you're seeking for best use of tokens in the game in my opinion haha, but I think it's worth it.
