If the thread was made today James then it was lost because we had to rollback all data due to a database issue. We like to help everyone that has a problem with the service and would never delete a thread for the reasons speculated. I hope that clears up any confusion.
As for debugging the issue, I'll pass that over to Andrew or Nico to investigate.

Workes quite well here on a iMac with OS X 10.7.4, switched over completely from PC to Mac 4 weeks ago and never had a problem (after installing the relevant Java, Flash Versions) with any website. For 2D Viewer here you only need Java as far as i know ...

... the "only problem" is that some 2D Racetrack Backgrounds are smaller as my Screen now ;-) but i can live with it :-D

What browser are you using? I have 10.7.4 and was able to pull up the 2d viewer.
