Hi there, can anyone shed light on when relegation from Elite becomes active? In the league at the moment there are 9 teams in Elite but no relegation. Promotion active in Pro but no relegation either.

You need 15 teams for relegation to activate

It should be on all the time, with the current lack of rookies many will be stuck

I kind of agree and disagree with that Dan. You would never fill any of the tiers up if it was a revolving promotion/relegation with only 8 in each tier. 2 up and 2 down in each teir would always leave 8 unless new players or established teams fell upon the league somehow.

Maybe a settings option where the relegation/promotion is split into two options instead of the current one choice that doesn't depends on how many teams are in the league.

Promotion on/off
Relegation on/off

While it sounds like that it actually wouldn't be like that with the current system. If switched on teams will be promoted as long as any teams are present in a tier at all, but even if relegation is switched on only teams on position 15 and 16 (29-32 in 1 car I think) will actually be relegated, if less teams are in a tier than 15 then the last 2 teams will remain in that tier and are not relegated. The downside is that Pro would often be down to only 2 teams instead of the 4 if it'd be always both ways. Until Elite is filled up so teams start to relegate from there and from then on there's a chance of Pro filling up as long as less than 2 teams quit in Pro and Elite per season.

On the whole I agree with Dan, better to pass the teams through empty tiers rather than having them stuck in a dead end tier with perhaps slightly more teams.
