I cannot set up the car, do practice laps or repair tye car as when i click on these options i am told "this is locked because your team is in a live event" but im not and havent been for a day

Please try fully exiting the app from your phone task manager screen and restarting it. If you don't know how to do that, restarting your phone will also so the trick. It sounds like it's stuck with some cached data.
Can you describe in more detail how this happened? Was it straight after your race, returning to the management screens from the live race viewer?

I have restarted my phone and that didnt work
I finished a race and after turned off the app from the task manager came back a few hours later and it did it.
Edit it just resolved itself. Thanks anyway
