CD Weakness and Strengths

Question:
If i got two CD's both 4.5 stars, but one had S: Accl W:Tyres and the other S:Tyres W:Accl.
and gave them both 8 races on the car, would they cancel each other out?

Or would both stats be 22, or both 50?

As I understand it they should more or less cancel each other out. Assuming you're Elite tier all eight attributes would be approx. 43 points.
