Instead of 5 practice laps should have a live practice give the managers a chance to see how the tyres do under a few laps last for 15 to 20 mins would be a more fun for the managers and would rely help gauge tyre and temp.
A great idea but sadly many people are unable to play live and therefore it could lead to many leaving the game if unable to be active for a live practice session. U must remember some leagues are only 50% length say 25min so the timescale u speak of is Al bit unrealistic. I like the idea but think it would be unworkable as a live concept
Well, it doesn't have to be truly live at a fixed time. People could have X minutes worth of practice and either set up their cars and training stint details and just hit that green button to get a detailed lap by lap report in text form and can do every training stint whenever they want as long as they have training time left for that car or they start the live viewer whenever between the prior race and lockdown they want and do the training session in full glory and real time (with 1x, 1.5x or 2x speed options like the races) in one go.
Sounds good would love to get a few laps tyre wear. Temps as well on there knowing how much a tyre would warm up from lap to lap could realy help with setting push level and stints between pits.
I can suggest as alternative
A) Enable push level
B) Practice run of 3 laps X 5 attempt
C) Return all 3 Laps wear (with decimal 10.3%) fuel etc as it is now adding tire temperature condition at the end of each lap.;)
That would be great it would give players more information on how many laps tyre would last and when to come in to pit on races. I find it hard to judge how long to stay out on tyre's. and bringing push level back into practice would help to judge the push level for the race.
Mayby better, choice setup, PL and set tyre then set amount of laps that drive must dive send him/her fly, you got not 5 stints but amount of 100 laps of practise ofcorse full detailed info from a stint tyre temp on all lap usage of tyre, time of lap and setup what drive use
yes keep it simple as with the five laps but give in some more info or have it do a few laps on a practice and give the info of tyre ware and temps and push.
