Don't know if this has been proposed before, but could be an interesting idea if instead of just waiting to train or hire someone from the transfer link, one could simply make an offer to a driver from another team and try to hire it. This could "force" managers to have a reserve driver too.
Also would be nice if during that break that happens between seasons the young/reserve drivers could do the testing of the car with the CD, and according the experience and talent of both the car can be better/further set up for the season. Since in F1 the winter testing is done in Barcelona, no need to add another track. It's already there. Just can put like a life practice for a race distance duration as set up on the league
