I think you must do the races more enjoyable with adding collisions and VSC.
-collisions: you can made that the Experience skill off the driver will determinate the probability of the collisions of this driver. Also the probability of collisions must be determinated by the Push level of cars during the race and from the rain (most if use slick on rain). The collisions will damage the car for 10-20% randomly, and when the car will be under 40% the probability of ritire will increase (also randomly) with losing time per lap (10%=0,2sec.).
- I will appreciate also the SafetyCar or VSC, maybe the VSC will be better for the game, because the Gap between cars will remain the same. And the people who will be online will control better the race, and they will be able to do pit stops in less time (i think about -5 sec. less than a normal pit stop). And also the teams who are offline will not lose so much time if they strategy setings of pit stops aren't set exacly for the lap of the VSC. And you can Add another caractheristic to any track, not only tyres and fuel consumtion, overtakes and background, but also the VSC probability (for this you can use the statistic of Safety Car and VSC from real F1). And do a random VSC enter on races based on this statistic and on numbers of collisions during that live race.
With this 2 things i think the race will be more unpredictable and more enjoynable, and more people will want to play more live races.
