League I've been in has had 3-4 races so far where forecast has been rain to heavy thunderstorms. In most of these occasions it has rained hours before, and during the race in the country the race is taking place.

However.. the weather is always just cloudy, with high humidity % and high temperatures.

It seems that rain has been switched off or something.. I know there's bound to be the odd time where localised weather isn't close enough to the weather the game gets but its seemingly getting it wrong everytime at the moment.

You can get a weather station facility which, in race, will give 2 minute updates. im pretty sure its fairly accurate.

I guess my point is that the weather that is occurring in game isn't what is occurring in real life.

The weather is live from Google api, so will be whatever forecast/weather they have as opposed to what other "websites etc" might show. Also the forecast is for the 24hour period, when your doing setup/strategy it will show you the live weather at the track

During our race tonight the Weather went from 29 to -18 then back up to 29 - seems abit inconsistent there

That happens if Google has some Problems then the API returns "Unknown Weather" with -18°C.
We can't do anything about that because that is not our fault.
But maybe we can make a workaround for that.

Would an easy fix for that to be to record the temp on an hourly basis for each location, and if the temp returns to be lower than 0, don't record/use it, and use the last recorded temp. I don't know how everything is set up but this should be fairly easy to implement.

Only problem I see with that is what if the temperature really is lower than 0°C?

Recording the listed temperature hourly though is a good idea.
