I was told to put this down, so I shall..

Ideas and thoughts for Q3 and more.

*** These for me as the end user, are my thoughts and ideas on how I would like to see this game develop over the comming months and years.

Not only for 1 or 2 patches times but for several patches after that as well. So please feel free to give some constructive thoughts to what you think or add things I've missed out.

This has taken me quite a few hours think about, to type out and continuing editing and changing ideas as they developme, also putting things in to some sort of order, but I think it has been worth it.

These also come from reading the forums, talking with the members in the league I run, listening to issues they have had in F2P and also in the 2D in the time I have been playing.

I run 2 accounts in the same league (Started at different dates and ranks.) 1 is a fully paid account each month and the other is F2P so some things are the experience and issues I have personally come across.

I use Firefox for my main account and I use Internet Explorer for my F2P. I have also looked after some accounts for friends using Google Chrome.

At 1 point I was doing the set up's for 4 accounts 3 times a week in the same league and another 1 each saturday in a private league. as a friend went in to hospital and only a few day or possibly just over a week.

4 WEEKS!! later of waiting and posting a few messages in our forums on updates of his teams and one on his facebook asking if he is ok and WTF is happening... He comes back... lol

So I do feel as I am someone who knows this game quite well. Again. Please don't hang me for some of the ideas. Maybe some will inspire better ones. ***

*** PART ONE ***

Bug sort.

One main things that REALLY needs to be addressed is Tyres / Tracks.

Monza and Monaco are the main ones that spring to mind, but there are others that you have 0 chance of running the other compound.

So a re-working with an elite league with the most subscribers who can give feedback to the developers of tyres wear / tyre temps on both compounds for all tracks.

Possibly a way of doing it is a sign up sheet for testing help that is announced by a Private message sent to all members with a subscription.

* Dates and times to be set so the ones who sign up can leave their league for the ammount of time required. (If you can, roll back the teams who help so they are back at what they was before and they can re-join their own league when they wish.)

* If it's possible, the league who are selected to help with this could have the option of 2 races per day, this will get the results quicker.

* Once the changes have been made, the same league or another league checks these results before release.

* This event can be monitored by anyone using the system or knows how the program works to give the feed back to the developers if they don't have the time to attend.

*** As long as it's between 2pm and 1am GMT. I'll be happy to help, I work from home. ***

The starting of their own weather system.

* To try and sort out the issues with the weather system, a possible idea is for the devs to start to write their own.

* This will be able to be re-set on a crash and not being reliant on an outside source that you have no control over.

* Devlopers set a program that is set to each track and it's perameters.

** Abu Dhabi has a low of 0mm rain fall in july and a high of 8.9mm in March with highes of 109.6 in August and lows of 56.1 in January.

Source - http://www.meoweather.com/history/United%20Arab%20Emirates/na/24.4666667/54.3666667/Abu%20Dhabi.html

* I do not mean that this is to be finished by Q3 or even Q4, if this is a complicated thing to do, then to have it as an ongoing project would be good to hear.

* The weather live forcasts can be read a lot further into and would give more benifits to the subscriber. F2P is set to a max of 3 mins but paid accounts get up to 15 mins that updates each min until the change.

* This will also be a benefit to subscribed members. (See Part Two)

Other bug fixes include -

* Drivers going past the pits and running out of fule.
* Extra weather settings for tyres in qually and race start. If you have it set to dry tyres and are not around for the lock down to change, you will swap to the correct weather tyre for each session.

Design system. I think congrats to the developers on this one to be honest.

Personally, the way the design system is setup, Is not really far off. I think it's nice and tricky to find a good balance from start of the season to the next. It's a good learning tool.

I have made the mistake of being at 100% and suffering the next season. It cost me 9 Million to change everyone to designers for the season break. lol.  BUT...

The way it works is to plan for 3 season and more, you need to find a good balance from the current season to the next, but also the season after and so on.

Ending each season at around 45% and taking it up to 90% and getting a good balance is all apart of the skill of using it correctly.

ok it does still need a few tweeks, but it's still a good system and can be usilized more by the subscibers. (See Part Two.)

Level cap for F2P.

* I don't know if there are any limits to the levels, but I'm guessing it's going to be 20 for the moment, so this can be increased as the game evolves.

* A level 15 cap put on to their search for Staff and Drivers.

* Possibly extra sponcers that only Subcribed members can access and you can not re-new unless you continue to pay.

* They may be able to train to a higher level, but once they retire, they can only chose up to level 15.

* If you subscribe and most of your staff are above the level 15 mark and you don't re-new, you can keep them until they retire and then you go back to being able to select from level 15.

* If the Subscribers feel that level 15 is to high, then possibly a lower rank could be offered. I don't think Level 20 has been reached yet. So expect lap times and so on to keep getting quicker and staff working better.

*** Feed back on other fixes would be appreciated. ***

Re-sculpture of the ranks and levels.

I don't know if the highest level is 20 for Drivers and ranks and so on, but if they are, then leveling in this game is quite easy, so the max should be set higher and the xp between ranks increased.

I have no view if they should stay at 20 for max or not, as staff are set to 20 already, then it might be easier to keep it at 20, make the changes and add higher if needed. I don't know what plans you have.

If you do widen the xp and make 19 to 20 higher, the patch would only effect the ranks, but excisting accouts will be able to keep all your staff, facilities and everything else.

The only effect will be when someone retires or somebody wants a new member of staff.

If an annoucment is made in advance, then people could get as much sorted as they can before the patch comes active.

*** Please say if you like any or all of these ideas and try to be as constuctive as possible if you dissagree with others. ***

This made me Lol, I use Hard Tires for most of my races and do succeed in beating level 16/17 drivers with Level 8 Drivers. Particularly the managers who are on the front page of the HoF.
