I can not post anything using BB Code in my league.

Yes, I also tried to post a link (to a forums thread) and the BB Code was translated into html but then just posted as text instead interpreted into a working link.

Could be wrong but didn't the devs disable this a few weeks ago to prevent images from being posted on the league wall?

Links still worked after that, but maybe it was an oversight and they fixed that during the last few days.

yeh it looks like iGP shut it down silently so no one would argue about it. They really need to move the features and formats you can choose in the forums to the league page if it's so "dangerous"

We decided to disable the codes on the league walls for several reasons. The two main ones were that several managers found how to exploit these html and bbcode codes and modify visual aspects of the game permanently. The other reason is to speed up loading times on mobile devices.

yeh it looks like iGP shut it down silently so no one would argue about it. They really need to move the features and formats you can choose in the forums to the league page if it's so "dangerous"


We comment this several times in different topics, we never hide anything, we are a really positive team in the face of constructive criticism, we always learn from it.  :)

So what would be the difference between the forum and the league? It doesn't make sense what you suggest, besides this topic is to ask, not to suggest

Why should there even be a difference between how you send messages in the forums and in leagues? That makes even less sense! The code is already there, just c/p it over and give everyone all the options.

And don't give me that "just put a link there" bs because links are useless on the mobile app and far less people will be bothered to follow the link anyway.

The code is created for the forum and is not adaptable to the league walls. Also as I told you, we want to speed up the loading times on mobile, your suggestion would delay it further.

On the other hand, if we had not deleted this and the loading times were slow, we would be receiving complaints (as happened before this change).
